I also had this problem when I first downloaded and installed 0.95. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure grabbing the latest drivers from nVidia worked for me (with a 7900GS).
I have the same problem ... sun is ok but every polygon is rendered black ... there is no texture.. i've tried your binary release .. and also compiled my own .. i get the same result :| Can anyone please help us ?
